We, Pat Wingshan Wong and Kachi Chan, helm Space And, an artist collective started in Hong Kong, birthed from a vision to document and engage with our transforming socio-cultural landscapes. Our focus spans tangible, digital, and latent spaces marked by rapid developments within urban and techno spheres. We strive to critically analyse and reimagine these spaces and their effects, particularly as they intersect with socio-economic narratives, surveillance, and hierarchy.

PAT WINGSHAN WONG is an artist and researcher who focuses on community-based projects. As an assistant professor at Hong Kong Baptist University's Academy of Visual Arts, her work explores the connections between architecture, technology, identity, and memory. Pat's recent projects center on urban development, examining its personal and public impact. She has collaborated with various institutions on projects of different formats and scales, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Art, Kingston School of Art, the Museum of London, and the Royal College of Art. Pat's work portrays community stories through people, landscapes, and objects from her surroundings.

KACHI CHAN is an artist, technologist and researcher who creates computational design, digital realities and robotics. He uses cultural informatics to address social issues and amplify marginalised voices. He studied at the Royal College of Art and Bartlett School of Architecture. Kachi has presented artistic and academic works at prestigious events such as Ars Electronica, ISEA, Art Basel, SIGGRAPH and the London Design Festival. He is currently am Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Baptist University.
